Blog Hopping :)

Hi there!! I'm sooo obsessed on reading beauty blogs this morning! I've been in front of my laptop for hours now, reading reviews about different beauty products I want to purchase and try.

I found product reviews really helpful for me. I know that I may have different skin type from the one who reviews it but at least, I have an overview about the product. It kept me from buying it impulsively right away after seeing it on department stores and online shops.

First Things First

Hi there! As promised, I will tell you more about myself on my next blog so here it is!

I am Ruby Palabasan, a pure Filipina from a little town of Pateros in Metro Manila, Philippines.

I studied BS Biology major in Microbiology at University of the Philippines Los Banos.

I entered the university on June 2008 and graduated last April 2012.

You might think that I took this course because I want to pursue medicine. Actually, I do not have any plans on pursuing medicine in the first place because I know that it requires a lot of determination, passion, time and money. Unfortunately, I got none of any(haha). I think it's  not for me.

Since I didn't go to med school, I have to find a decent job. Luckily, I got hired at National Food Authority Food Development Center as a Research Analyst but on a contractual basis. In a span of one month, I fell in love with my job. Actually, its my dream job. In our lab, we are doing some analysis making sure that the food you are consuming has low microbial load that's why our job has very important role in the food industry :)

Enough about my job, well, I am also in love with beauty and fashion. Behind my lab gown, head cap and mask, you will see a totally different person, not the typical geek that pops in to your mind when you visualize a microbiologist.

I think that's it! And oh, I would like to thank Michelle Magramo of Micmic's Corner for encouraging me to venture in blogging :)

hello world of blogging!

I'm fond of reading blogs especially about beauty and fashion. When reading blogs, I sometimes feel that the blogger is my best-est friend I ever had. Why? Because we have the same passion. One day, it hit me, I want to become one of them too!! But of course I know it wasn't easy to have many readers. But wth, with or without reader, I would pursue this. I will take a step out of my comfort zone of just being a reader.

So from now on, expect me to share about fashion and beauty, about everything I found amazing and a little about my personal life. If ever you want me to talk about a certain topic, please let me know. I am beyond happy to do that for you. But I am not an expert with this, I'm just starting. I hope you could understand. I will be sharing more about me on my next blog. :)
